JIHAQUA 650 Feet Black Airline Tubing

The JIHAQUA roll holds 650 Feet of black airline tubing. It is sized to fit all 3/16 standard outlets: air pumps, check valves, filtration systems, air stones, air flow control levers and aquarium ornaments.

Why black tubing

Black tubing disappears against a dark background, dark stand or hydroponic tote. It also blocks light, so algae has a harder time growing inside the line. Clear tubing in a bright room often turns green within months.

Who needs this much

650 feet is a lot of hose. It makes sense for:

• Fish rooms with a central air pump and many tanks
• Hydroponic systems with air stones in each bucket
• Breeders who run sponge filters in every tub
• Clubs or shops that split a roll among members

Running long lines

For a fish room, a loop of larger pipe with gang valves at each tank is more efficient than one long hose per tank. Use this tubing for the short drops from each valve to each filter or stone. Cut square with sharp scissors and fit a check valve on any line where the pump could sit lower than the water.

The roll weighs 3 pounds. Keep it in a cool, dark place so the tubing stays soft until you need it.

Smaller amounts
