JIH 50 Feet Black Airline Tubing Kit

Good for multi-tank setups

With four check valves and plenty of T pieces, you can split a pump into several lines and protect each one. That fits a small breeder rack, a quarantine tank alongside a display, or a few hydroponic buckets. Pair the kit with a pump that has enough output to share, such as the hygger quiet air pump.

Fit and safety

The tubing fits all standard 3/16 outlets: pumps, valves, filters, stones, flow levers and ornaments. JIH describes the material as non-toxic. Fit each check valve with the arrow pointing toward the water, and keep a drip loop below the pump.

Tips

Cut runs slightly long and trim to fit. Soak new air stones in tank water before use so they bubble evenly. Store spare tubing coiled loosely in a dark place so it stays supple. If a connector feels loose, trim a fresh end on the tubing; a clean cut grips the barb far better than a stretched, worn end that has been pulled on and off many times.
