Product Specifications
- Brand
- DaToo
The DaToo check valve 12 pack covers a common risk with air pumps. When the power goes out or the pump is switched off, water can siphon back down the airline and into the pump. A one-way check valve lets air out to the tank but blocks water from coming back.
Build
The shell is high-strength ABS plastic. Inside, the valve is soft, corrosion-resistant silicone that resists aging. The valves fit standard 3/16 inch airline tubing and grip it firmly so they do not slip off. They work in fresh and salt water setups.
Installing them

- Cut the airline a short way above the pump or below the tank rim.
- Push the tubing from the pump onto the inlet side.
- Push the tank-side tubing onto the outlet side, following the arrow toward the water.
- Repeat on every line, including each branch after a splitter.
If air stops flowing

DaToo notes that a clogged valve can be cleared by poking it open with a slim stick from the air inlet side. A valve placed in the wrong direction will block air completely, so check the arrow first.
Why a 12 pack

Valves are cheap insurance but they wear over time, and every outlet on a multi-tank setup needs one. Twelve covers a rack of tanks or gives spares for later swaps. DaToo backs them with a one year warranty.
Placement tip
Even with valves, keeping the pump above the water line is the safest setup. If the pump must sit below the tank, use a check valve and also a drip loop in the airline.
Alternatives
For a smaller set, see the AQUANEAT 10 pack or the Pawfly 6 pack.
Swap valves once a year, or sooner if you notice a weaker stream of bubbles. Silicone can stiffen with age, and a sticky valve lowers air output even when it still blocks water.
The Bottom Line
A large, simple pack of valves that protects every air line.
