DaToo Mini Clip On Aquarium Light, 7W

The DaToo Mini Clip On Aquarium Light is a 7W dimmable LED for nano tanks of 1 to 3 gallons. The light head is only 2.7 inches, so it does not crowd a small tank or block the view.

Three modes

• Mode 1: all LEDs on, for full brightness.
• Mode 2: white only, a soft natural light.
• Mode 3: red, green and blue, to make fish and plants look more colorful.

Each mode has 10 levels of brightness, from 10%~100%.

Mounting

A clip-on bracket with a set screw mounts securely to open aquariums with rims less than 0.25 inches thick. The head can be angled to change how the tank looks, for example lighting a plant or decoration from the side.

Build

The shell is high-strength ABS, resistant to corrosion and impacts. DaToo uses 2835 LED beads. Power is via USB, which makes it easy to run from a phone adapter or a computer.

Nano tank tips

Small tanks heat up and grow algae quickly under strong light. Start around 50% brightness for 6 hours a day and adjust. Pair it with an outlet timer on the USB adapter for a consistent schedule.
