The hygger Clip On 24/7 Lighting Aquarium LED Light (model HG990) is a 14W full spectrum light for 12~20in tanks. Its default 24/7 natural mode runs a full day cycle automatically.

24/7 mode

From 6am to about 8am the light fades in orange for sunrise, then gradient white runs until about 10:00pm/22:00, followed by blue moonlight until about 10:50pm/22:50. The light is off at other times. You can shift the whole schedule earlier or later.

DIY mode

• Timer: 6h, 10h or 12h
• 5 brightness levels
• Colors: white, red, blue, green, purple, orange, cyan, or cycle color

Clip mount

The clip bracket fits tank walls less than 0.9in thick. The light body can be removed and mounted horizontally or vertically. A separable adapter means a damaged power supply can be replaced without replacing the whole light.

Power is 14W with 68 LEDs (32 white, 12 blue, 7 red, 3 green, 14 RGB) and CRI 85. Lumens are listed at 817. White is 6500K, blue 455nm, red 620nm and green 560nm. The power cord is 4.9ft+2.3ft, input AC100-240V and output DC20V.

Plants

The light suits small planted tanks with low to medium light plants. The long daily cycle in 24/7 mode can encourage algae in new tanks, so consider shortening it with DIY mode until plants are established.
