hygger 24/7 Submersible Aquarium LED Light

The hygger 24/7 Mode Submersible Aquarium LED Light is an 8W full spectrum light that can be used three ways: under the water as a submersible light, fixed under a tank cover, or placed behind the tank as a hidden background light. It is sealed to IP68 waterproof.

Three ways to use it

• Submersible: mount it inside the tank for lighting from below the surface.
• Under the lid: fix it under a cover in tanks with no room for a top light.
• Background: place it behind the tank with the included white background paper for a soft glow.

24/7 mode

Sunrise orange fades in from 6 am to about 8 am, white daylight runs until about 10:00pm/22:00, then blue moonlight until about 10:50pm/22:50. The schedule can be moved earlier or later.

DIY mode

Choose a timer of 6h, 10h or 12h, 5 brightness levels and colors including white, red, blue, green, purple, orange and cyan, or a color cycle.

Specs

Power is 8W with 48 LEDs (23 white, 6 blue, 3 red, 16 RGB) and CRI 74. It suits tanks 13”-22” long. The power cord is 6 ft+4.9 ft, input AC100-240V and output DC 20V. The adapter is separable for easy replacement.

Limits

With CRI 74 and 8W, this is best as an accent or supplemental light, or the main light on a small low-tech tank. For demanding plants, pair it with a stronger top light.
