AQUANEAT LED Aquarium Light for 30-38 Inch Tanks

The AQUANEAT LED Aquarium Light Full Spectrum is a slim, plug-and-play light for freshwater tanks. This page covers the 303-383 model and its 483-543 sibling. Both have the same on-off design and extendable brackets that fit any rim thickness.

30 inch model

It works best on tanks with 30 inches long for full coverage, and the brackets let it fit tanks from 30 to 36 inches long. The light body without brackets is 27.7” L x 2.7” W. It has 72 LEDs in total: 52 pcs 6500K white, 10 pcs blue, 5 pcs pink and 5 pcs green.

48 inch model

The larger version works best on tanks with 48 inches long and fits tanks from 48 to 54 inches long. The body is 45” L x 2.7” W, with 96 LEDs: 68 pcs 6500K white, 14 pcs blue, 7 pcs pink and 7 pcs green.

Operation

Both models are all lights on or all lights off. There is no timer and brightness is not adjustable. Add an outlet timer so the tank gets a consistent photoperiod, which helps fish settle into a routine and limits algae.

Not waterproof

Keep the light away from splashing water. A glass lid between the light and the water is the simplest protection.

Plants and fish
