AQUANEAT LED Aquarium Light for 18-24 Inch Tanks

The AQUANEAT LED Aquarium Light (model GYF-101) is a simple, slim light for freshwater tanks. The light body is 17” long, and two extendable brackets let it sit on tanks from 18 inch to 24 inch long. It works best on 10 gallon tanks with 20 inches long for good coverage.

LED mix

The light has a total of 42 LEDs: 30 pcs 6500K white, 6 pcs blue, 3 pcs pink and 3 pcs green. White provides general daylight, while the blue, pink and green add color and make fish and plants look more vivid.

Simple operation

There is one mode: all lights on or all off. There is no timer, and the brightness is not adjustable. For many keepers that simplicity is the point. Pair it with an inexpensive outlet timer to get a consistent daily schedule.

Not waterproof

AQUANEAT notes the light is not waterproof. Keep it away from splashing water, use a lid or glass cover if your filter outflow splashes, and dry any drips on the housing promptly.

Plants

A basic white-heavy bar like this supports low-light plants such as anubias, java fern, cryptocorynes and mosses. For carpeting or red stem plants, a stronger, adjustable light is a better match.
