PULACO 25W Mini Aquarium Heater

The PULACO 25Watt Mini Aquarium Heater is a submersible heater for small glass or acrylic desktop aquariums of 1 to 6 Gallons. It is preset to 78°F, so there is nothing to adjust: plug it in and it holds the tank there.

How it works

When you plug it in, a red light comes on and the heater warms the water up to 78°F. Then the red light goes off and the green light comes on while the heater rests and maintains a constant temperature. PULACO lists the accuracy as ±3°F.

Why preset

78°F is a comfortable temperature for bettas and many common tropical fish. A preset heater removes the guesswork and the risk of someone turning a dial too high. The trade-off is that you cannot change the setting for fish that need warmer or cooler water.

Installation

Mount it vertically or horizontally. Horizontal placement near the bottom helps in very shallow tanks. The heater must be 100% submerged.

Important notes

• Not suitable for tanks under 1 gallon.
• Never run it, or leave it plugged in, out of water.
• Use a filter or pump to circulate water while heating.

Without circulation, small tanks can develop warm and cool spots.

PULACO offers a 1 YEAR warranty and will replace the heater if you are not satisfied.
