Novique 5-in-1 Fish Tank Cleaner Kit

The Novique 5 in 1 Fish Tank Cleaner Kit (model NVFTCK-1) puts five cleaning heads on a single 19 inch anti-slip handle. It covers the routine jobs in most freshwater and saltwater tanks without getting your hands wet.

Five accessories

Handle and heads

The operating rod is a high-toughness fiber, chosen to resist corrosion and flex. The five accessories are high-strength ABS plastic. A snap-on design locks each head to the handle so it will not drop off mid-clean, and swapping heads takes very little time.

Length

Using it on acrylic

Plastic heads are gentler than a metal blade, but any pad can scratch if sand gets caught under it. Rinse the scraper and sponge before every pass, and stay above the substrate line when cleaning acrylic.

Routine

Scrape and wipe the glass first, rake the substrate to free trapped waste, then follow up with a siphon such as the Woznusy siphon kit to remove what you loosened. Net any floating bits at the end.

Storage

All heads share one handle, so the kit takes little room. Rinse each piece in tank water and let it dry before putting it away.

Who it suits
