hygger Mini 20W Heater with Digital Controller

The hygger Mini Fish Tank Submersible Heater (model HG142) is a 20 Watt heater for 1-5 gallon desktop and betta aquariums. It pairs a small black heating element with an external thermostatic controller and digital display.

Small element

The heating element is 43 long by 13 high, so it fits into tiny tanks and shallow water turtle tanks without dominating the view. The black finish hides easily against dark backgrounds or plants.

Adjustable with live readout

Set the temperature by cycling between 59 and 93 degrees on the controller. The digital display shows the real-time water temperature. The heater switches on when water drops below your setting and off when it reaches it. A memory function keeps your setting after a power cut, so you do not need to reset it.

Safety

The heater has low water level shutdown and overheat protection. If the controller detects a fault, it beeps, shows an error code and stops heating.

Installation

Use the two suction cups to mount it vertically or horizontally. Horizontal placement near the bottom works well in shallow tanks.
