The hygger 360 GPH Electric Gravel Cleaner is a powered cleaning kit for small to large tanks. A 15W pump does the work a hand siphon would, and a set of heads and tubes lets one tool vacuum gravel, wash sand, scrub glass and change water.
Adjustable length
Four rigid tubes splice together, so the wand runs from 11.4 inches to 40.5 inches. Use one or two for a nano tank and all four for a tall display.
The heads

- 45° corner inlet for washing sand.
- Duckbill inlet for pulling debris out of corners.
- Brush head for wiping surfaces.
- Gravel washer head for deeper substrate.
- 360° intake strainer for plain water changes.
Water change mode

The pump moves up to 360GPH with a 4.92 ft head, and it will start with as little as 2 inches of water and pump down to about 0.3 inches. That’s handy for emptying a tank fully when you move or rescape.
Filter mode

Swap the outlet for the filter housing and the cleaner sends water through a sponge and back into the tank. You can wash sand and lift waste without removing any water, then do your water change separately.
Safety
The 110V adapter is UL certified, and an inline switch lets you stop the pump without pulling a wet plug from the wall. Still keep the adapter well away from the tank and use a drip loop.
Expect a short learning curve. Start with the shortest wand that reaches the bottom, use the gravel washer head first, then switch to the duckbill for corners. Rinse the filter sponge after each session so the pump keeps its full flow next time.
Alternatives
If you’d rather not run power near the tank, a manual siphon like the QZQ gravel cleaner kit is simpler. For very deep tanks, the UPETTOOLS electric cleaner moves more water.
The Bottom Line
A versatile powered kit that turns gravel cleaning and water changes into one job.
