The Clscea DC300-20 is a CO₂ diffuser made of 304 stainless steel, 20cm long, with a high density ceramic disk and a hook that hangs over the rim. It is designed for rimless tanks and suits medium and small tanks, including shallow layouts.
What a diffuser does
In a pressurized CO₂ system, gas from the cylinder travels through a regulator and a line to the tank. The diffuser breaks that gas into a cloud of tiny bubbles. Smaller bubbles have more surface area and spend longer in the water, so more CO₂ dissolves before it reaches the surface. Dissolved CO₂ is what plants use to grow faster and stay compact.
Built-in check valve

Clscea updated this model to solve water backflow in the tubing. Bubbles now release right away, and water does not creep back up the line when the gas stops at night. That saves you adding a separate check valve.
Working pressure

This is a high-pressure diffuser with a working pressure of 42 PSI. Your regulator output must be higher than that, or the disc will not release gas. Low-pressure DIY or paintball setups may not drive it properly, so check your regulator before you buy.
Placement

Mount the diffuser low in the tank, near the filter intake or under the outflow. The current spreads the fine bubbles across the tank and keeps them in contact with water longer. In a rimless tank, the hook keeps the line neat and out of sight.
Cleaning the disc
Ceramic discs clog with algae and biofilm. When the mist turns coarse, soak the disc in diluted bleach or hydrogen peroxide, rinse well and dry. The disk can be replaced when it wears out.
Planted tank basics
CO₂ works best with good light and nutrients. Pair it with a root feed like Seachem Flourish Tabs for heavy root feeders.
The Bottom Line
A clean, durable diffuser for pressurized CO₂ on small and mid-size planted tanks.
