Why a kit helps

New keepers often buy a pump, then find they need valves and clips too. With this pack, mismatched sizes are not a worry, since every piece is made for the same standard line. The small stones are easy to drive with even a nano pump, and they make plenty of medium bubbles for surface movement.
Using the T connectors

A T piece lets you split one pump outlet into two lines, for example a stone in the display and a sponge filter in a fry tank. Splitting does share the air, so pair it with a pump that has spare output, like the AQUANEAT dual outlet pump.
Setting it up

Cut the tubing into the lengths you need. Fit a check valve on each line with the arrow pointing toward the tank. Press suction cups onto clean, dry glass and clip the line in so it runs neatly down a back corner. Set each air stone on the substrate or behind decor to hide it.
Upkeep
Air stones clog over time as minerals build up. When bubbles turn large and uneven, soak or replace the stone. Clear suction cups lose grip as they age; a quick rinse in warm water usually brings them back.
The Bottom Line
An easy way to get every small part of an air setup in one order.
