EvaGO 15 Inch Curved Aquarium Tweezers

The EvaGO 15 inch Curved Tweezers are a long stainless steel tool for working inside a tank. The length keeps your hand out of the water, and the curve lets you reach around rocks and wood to the spot you want.

Built for grip

The tips are serrated so small stones, plant stems and food items don’t slip. The handle has an anti-slip pattern for a steady hold when you’re pushing a stem into substrate.

Uses in the aquarium

• Planting stem plants and carpeting plants in sand or soil.

Why curved

Straight tweezers are easier for vertical planting. Curved tweezers are better for angles, such as tucking a plant behind a rock or placing something under an overhang. Many scapers keep one of each.

Rust protection

EvaGO uses forged stainless steel with a carbonation protection coating against rust. Rinse them in fresh water and dry them after use, especially after saltwater, to keep them in good shape.

Outside the aquarium

The same tool works for feeding reptiles and spiders, so it’s useful in a house with several pets.

When planting stems, grip the stem low near the base at an angle, push it deep into the substrate and release the tips before pulling the tweezers out. The curve makes it easier to keep the stem upright while you slide the tool back out, so plants are less likely to float back up.
